Discover LOLA is a fashion tech startup out of Austin,Tx focusing on bridging the gap between traditional brick & mortar and the online community. We offer our customers 3 unique ways to shop: A La Carte Online, Pop Up Shop, and Subscription. At Discover LOLA we believe that personal style is never one size fits all. This position reports to the CEO, the Pop-up Shop Coordinator will have the opportunity to grow and work with an innovative, mission-driven startup. You will be responsible for creating, managing and executing the LOLA events calendar, for both virtual and in-person events. Truly, you’ll be building something from the ground-up. For in-person pop-ups, events, shows and in home trunk shows, you’ll manage the event from start to end. You will pick up products and displays to take to the events and return them back to our LOLA showroom after the event.
You have exceptional organizational skills, and experience bringing amazing events to life. Our customers are all over Texas, so we’ll also be building a virtual events calendar for LOLA. This may entail hosting a Facebook or Instagram Live event, Google Hangout, or webinar that cultivate a brand experience that matters and adds value to our customers lives.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proficient at working independently with minimal supervision, and has previous experience in events management and retail. You’re mindful, creative and hardworking. You want to work for a company that’s making a positive impact in the fashion world, and you’re passionate about finding solutions and getting stuff done. You’re willing to take on any task, even if it means learning something new or pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.
